Groove Republic was born during the UNTOLD Festival in 2026. Surrounded by thousands of people moving to the same rhythm, a simple idea emerged: what if music itself could become a nation? A place without borders. A place where creativity, groove and energy become the common language. That idea became Groove Republic.
Music has always been humanity's most universal language. Long before nations, borders and ideologies divided people, rhythm brought communities together.
Inspired by the cultural diversity of our world and the energy of global music festivals, Groove Republic explores influences from many musical traditions and transforms them into a contemporary sound.
African rhythms, European electronic music, American funk and rock influences, Latin grooves, synth-pop textures and modern festival sounds may all become part of the same musical conversation.
Every track represents another cultural encounter. Every groove becomes part of a larger story.

GrooveJay is a drummer, DJ, producer and lifelong student of rhythm. After beginning to play drums at the age of six and entering the world of DJing in early adulthood, decades were spent exploring different musical styles and performance formats.
GrooveJane discovered music through the expressive sound of the accordion before finding her true voice in singing. Fascinated by the rhythms, melodies and emotions of different cultures, she has always been drawn to the unique way music connects people across languages and borders. Through Groove Republic, she shares that passion by bringing global sounds and heartfelt energy into every performance.
Together, experiences with Go Sing Choir, Rockin'1000 and The Grand Jam deepened a shared belief: when people create music together, something extraordinary happens. Groove Republic grew from that spirit of connection, community and groove.
